FACTSHEETS (also known as ‘Real Talk Sessions’ )

The factsheets below (or ‘Real Talk Sessions’, as we refer to them) were developed using a mix of qualitative and quantitative findings across all weSpeak sites from both Phase 1 and 2.

Each Real Talk Session highlights a range of stories we heard from heterosexual Black men about their health and life experiences.

These include, but are not limited to:

  1. Structural violence and social inequities as determinants of health and life opportunities
  2. Heterosexual Black Men’s perspectives on vulnerability, resilience, masculinity, and heterosexuality in relation to health and HIV prevention
  3. Access to and availability of HIV and related health services
  4. Building individual and community resilience to HIV prevention

Please check back for updates to this page as more Real Talk Sessions are developed in the future.
